1. Business Meeting
Our next regularly scheduled Business meeting will happen July 20th at 6:30 p.m. At this meeting we will get ministry updates from the Olathe & Gardner campuses and we will vote on changing the name of the Olathe Campus. Absentee Ballots are now available - please see Leann Carrick, if you need an absentee ballot. Absentee Ballots should be returned to Leann no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 20. There will be a potluck supper before the meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please bring a dish to share according to your last name: A-I Main Dish; J-Q Salad or Side and R-Z Dessert.
2. Everyone Is Invited
The American Baptist Womens Ministry and the Luther Rice Association will host its Summer Rally on Tuesday, July 26 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church - DeSoto. This event is open to ladies and gentlement. Supper will be served and the guest speaker is Nathan March who is the Associate Executive Minister for American Baptist Church Central Region. 3. Missionary Visit
Join us Wednesday, August 10th at 6:00 p.m. as we are joined by Dan & Sarah Chetti, missionaries from Beirut, Lebanon. Supper will be served at the regular time of 5:00 p.m. Then everyone is encouraged to join us in the Sanctuary to hear the amazing stories of what God is doing in Lebanon.
