                            Please share this information with anyone who may be affected.

If you, any member of your family or someone you know made a contribution to the Family Life Center designated fund at First Baptist Church of Olathe.

Please send or have them send a letter to:

Olathe, KS 66062

That states full name and how the funds are to be handled, you or they have three (3) options.

Option 1: Allow the church to apply your donation to its Building Improvement project

Option 2: Receive a refund of your donation. Please be aware that return of a prior donation could have tax consequences if you have already claimed that donation on your tax returns. Please consult your tax advisor.

Option 3: Allow the church to move your donation to its General Fund

Please provide a written response to the church no later than April 15, 2017. If you do not respond by this time, all monies remaining in the FLC designated fund will be moved to the General Fund at that time in accordance with the First Baptist Church of Olathe/Connections Community Church Financial Policy.

1. Office Hours
Due to an early morning false fire alarm at the church the office will close Friday, March 24th at 2:15 p.m.

2. American Baptist Women General Gathering
April 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the Welcome Center. A Salad Supper & Dessert will be served. Everyone (ladies & gentlemen) are invited to attend. Special guest LaVern Fields will be talking about the ALICE Safety program being used in public schools.

3. Haiti 2017
Practicing the Presence of Christ is the theme of this trip being planned for July 20-25 in partnership with the Global Orphan Project & ABC Missions. There are a number of ways to be involved: 1. Be part of the team that is going. 2. Give to support one of the missionaries or contribute items will be taken to Haiti. 3. Pray and 4. Serve, if you can't go to Haiti find some place local to serve. For additional information pick-up an overview packet at the Welcome Center or contact Jen Kane at jentea78@gmail.com or 785-248-9317

Our first regular business meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. instead of the usual 5:00.

Tomorrow, March 3rd. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. There will also be an items collection taken at this event to benefit Cross-Lines. Items to donate: toilet paper, baby wipes, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, toothpaste/toothbrushes, laundry soap, feminine hygiene products, and adult diapers. This events is open everyone and is being co-hosted by our own American Baptist Women and Church Women United.
