1. Building Improvement Campaign - Be watching your mail as we kick off the second phase of the building improvement campaign, May 1st. We are calling this phase "Bring it Home" as we are hoping to pay off the loan with this campaign. As a thank you each fully completed pledge card will receive two (2) free tickets to the Royals Faith & Family night July 7th.
2. Hot Wheels - THANK YOU! For donating Hot Wheels for Henry's Haul. Between the preschool and the church we collected well over 400 cars for kids at Children's Mercy!

Please be sure to fill out a Connect Card each week to let us know you were at church and how the staff can be praying for you. If you attend the first service drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. If you attend the second service you can put the Connect Card in the offering boxes at the back of the Sanctuary. Next-Steps - is the new get connected ministry. There will be Next-Step | Quick Step gatherings on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month starting this Sunday. Then on the 2nd Sunday of the month there will be a longer Next-Step gathering dedicated to helping you find your place at FBC by exploring your special gifts and talent.
SERVE
Merge Street Ministries - Is the name of our homeless ministry. If you are looking for away to serve, try their Sandwich Sunday. Every Sunday after second service simple lunches are taken out to the homeless in the community. For more information contact Melisa Chai
Children's & Youth Ministry - our young people are our future so it is critical we invest in them - would you help? Not sure? Go to a Next-Step gathering to learn about your gifts and talents.
Memorial Book - The memorial plaques have been moved to their new home in Heritage Chapel, now if we could just get some words of remembrance for the Memorial Book. We have only gotten a couple of submissions for the Memorial Book. This special project is meant to honor those who have gone before us. Do you have a family member or friend whose name is up there? Then we need you. If you know anything about any of the people whose names appear on the memorial plaques - please fill out In Memory and Honor form available at the Welcome Center.
