1. Building Improvement Campaign Update

As of Sunday, January 22, 2017 we have:

$30,090 Available from Family Life Center (FLC) designated fund

$23,000 Pledges received

$53,090 Currently available

$28,650 One time pledges

$20,780 Monthly & Weekly pledges

$49,430 Total committed pledges to be received

$102,805 Campaign Total (FLC funds & pledges; received and to be received)

As we continue to receive pledges and FLC donor letter responses, Rebecca Bilderback will provide updated figures at least weekly.

2. Giving Envelope Books and Annual Giving Statements
This will be the last Sunday that giving envelopes will be available at the Welcome Center. After Sunday please see Leann for them. Annual Giving statement have been mailed out.

Please be sure to fill out a Connect Card each week to let us know you were at church and how the staff can be praying for you. If you attend the first service drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. If you attend the second service you can put the Connect Card in the offering boxes at the back of the Sanctuary. You can also sign-up for Wednesday Night Supper that way. For those of you who regularly fill them out - THANK YOU!

We continue the third leg of our journey through the book of Acts with a message from Pastor Derek titled The Holy Spirit In Unexpected Locations we'll be studying on Acts 8:4-40.

Wednesday Night Supper - Shepherd's Pie

Mark your calendars - February 5th the Boy Scouts will be serving up breakfast as a fundraiser. Breakfast will start at 8:15 and finish at 10:45 so theirs time for everyone to grab a bite if the want.

Movie Night - February 10th at 6:30pm join us for the movie The Woodcarver. Refreshments will be available. This event is being presented by the Education Department.

Marriages need fellowship too - The Weekend To Remember marriage conference will be back in the Kansas City area for two weekends - February 24-26 and March 10-12. Now through January 23rd spouses attend free when you enter KCMarriage when registering. After January 23 get $100 off using the same code. Leann will be going to California to attend a funeral. She will be gone February 6 - 10th if you can help man the reception desk please see Leann.

1. Office Hours

Friday, January 20th the office will close at 3:30 p.m.

2. Special Meeting

The Special Meeting that was called to ordered and then recessed this past Sunday will be called back to order this Sunday, January 22nd following the second service. Pledge cards can be returned all week, at both services on Sunday and at the beginning of the meeting. Everyone can do something to be part of this campaign - if you have money to give - give; if you don't you can pledge to help on the project or to be praying for the campaign and the necessary work.

3. Giving Envelope Books and Annual Giving Statements
Will be available for pick up from a table in the Welcome Center on Sunday. Concerning the envelopes, the Finance committee asks that for the months of January and February you please neatly print your last name on your envelope as they verify numbers - Thank you

1. Office Hours

Friday, January 13th the office will close between 1:00 & 1:30 p.m. depending on the length of the diaconate meeting.

2. Winter Weather

A decision will be made sometime Saturday about the weather impacting Sunday services. We will list the status with local news outlets, and we will also post the status on Facebook & Twitter, as well as sending text and email messages. So keep an eye on your preferred information stream. Stay tuned for information concerning the Special Meeting in the event services are cancelled. Pledge card can be turned in Friday until 1:00 p.m.

1. Christmas Cards and Undecking the Church

This Sunday will be your last chance to pick up Christmas cards in the Welcome Center. They will be in Leann's office until the end of January otherwise. Also, this Sunday we will be taking down all the Christmas decorations following second service so stick around, the more help the better.

2. Upgrade Campaign and Special Meeting

The letter concerning the upgrade campaign along with pledge cards have gone out in the mail. Mark your calendars for the special meeting concerning this campaign for set for January 15th following the second service.
