FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS


1. AWANA
 The 2016-2017 Awana Clubs will be kicking off September 7th. Registration is now open - registration forms are available at the Welcome Center. If you are interested in voluteering let Brandy McDonald or Pastor Debby White know.

2. Food For Hope
Food For Hope is a ministry of our FBC Youth. They are re-launching this ministry to make a difference in the community. They are currently accepting donations of the following items: water bottles, juice boxes, individual cereal boxes, fruit cups, small jars of peanut butter, crackers, sandwich crakers, individual size bags of Pretzels, granola bars, individual size trail mix and jerky sticks. You can also pick up a printed list at the Welcome Center.

3. Coats For Kids
This year we are partnering with Heritage Elementary School to provide coats for children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. Donations of gently used and new coats for kids are now being accepted. There is a box located in the Welcome Center near the wooden cross. Please bring your donations to the church by September 25th.

Old Settlers Concert Stage Tear Down - this is a great way for guys to get involved serving. We will tear down the concert stage Saturday, September 10th 9:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. For more information contact John "JD" Dailey at 913-636-7666

Job Opening: Nursery Attendant - Come be the hand and feet of Jesus, showing children age birth to 3 years, His love. For this part-time position we are looking for an experienced Child Care provider. Basic hours will be Sundays 9:00am - 12:00pm and Wednesdays 6:00pm - 8:00pm with additional hours as needed. Compensation will be $10.00/hour.
