1. Remembrance Service

TONIGHT - May 26th at 7:00 pm a special service for all who are grieving  the loss of a loved one. This special service is for our church family and is also an outreach to our community.  There will be a simple fellowship time following the service. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make cookies.  

2. Connections Community Church Launch 

After much hard work we are nearing the launch of our new campus in Gardner. The launch schedule: June 5 - Open House at 4:30 pm with a soft worship service to follow at 6:00 pm. June 12 Open House at 4:30 pm with soft worship at 6:00 pm. These soft worships will be where we are working out the final kinks in the programing and facility set-up. Join us at one of these to see the facility and check out the newest member of our family. June 19 is the official launch date with worship at 6:00 p.m. Let your Gardner friends know there is a new church in town and invite them to check it out.  The church is located at 736 S Center Street, Gardner KS 66030.

The church offices will closed Monday, May 30th due to Memorial Day.

1. Benefit Garage Sale - started today

May 19-21 Thursday & Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 7am-1pm at 1826 S Abbey Circle, Olathe 66062. Funds raised will help support the Petzold family and the new Patsy's Pantry ministry. Volunteers are needed. For more information contact Jeramie Albin at 913-424-7471

May 25th at 6:30 pm  - This will be an informational meeting that will cover two topics. First on the agenda will be a discussion of facility upgrades that are needed at the Olathe campus. Then Pastor Derek will give the Common Meeting presentation concerning the name change. There will be a potluck supper served before the meeting at 5:30 pm - A-L Main Dish, J-Q Salad or Side & R-Z Dessert

If you have not attended a Common Meeting and will not be able to attend the special meeting a limited number of DVDs of the presentation are available to check out from Leann at the church office.

Other Stuff

Plans for the official launch of our Campus in Gardner - Connections Community Church are underway.  June 5 & 12 there will be an open house beginning a 4:30 p.m. with Worship to follow at 6:00 p.m.  June 19th is the official launch with Worship at 6:00 p.m.

 Are you ready to make a public faith declaration? We are planning for baptisms on May 22. If you would like to know more about getting baptized please see Pastor Derek.

Starting June 1 at 6:00 pm Pastor Derek will be leading a Summer small group Bible Study called The View From Above. Contact Pastor Derek if you need more information.

This weekend will be your last opportunity to purchase veggie & herb plants. The funds raised from the sale help with technology needs of the church.

Green Lantern Car Wash is showing appreciation to all Nurses on May 10th from 7 am - 8 pm. All you have to do is show your ID badge and they'll treat for a basic wash.
