FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS


1. Remembrance Service
May 26th at 7:00 pm a special service is being planned for all who are grieving  the loss of a loved one. This special service is for our church family and is also an outreach to our community.  There will be a simple fellowship time following the service. Will you help make this an awesome event by making some cookies? We have a goal of 13 dozen. If you will - please let Ginger Sparks know by calling 913-780-4926 and leaving a message with your name and how many cookies you can provide. Thank you. 
2. Something For Nurses
Green Lantern Car Wash is showing appreciation to all Nurses on May 10th from 7 am - 8 pm. All you have to do is show your ID badge and they'll treat for a basic wash. 
3. Special Business Meeting 
May 25th at 6:30 pm  - This will be an informational meeting that will cover two topics. First on the agenda will be a discussion of facility upgrades that are needed at the Olathe campus. Then Pastor Derek will give the Common Meeting presentation concerning the name change. There will be a potluck supper served before the meeting at 5:30 pm - A-L Main Dish, J-Q Salad or Side & R-Z Dessert

If you have not attended a Common Meeting and will not be able to attend the special meeting a limited number of DVDs of the presentation are available to check out from Leann at the church office.

Coming up Sunday:
May 8th is Mother's Day. We continue our journey through John - Pastor Derek will use John 17:20-26 for messaged titled ONE. 

CONNECT
Wednesday Night Supper is a great way to connect. Join us for a delicious meal Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m.


SERVE
Want to be missional? Why not serve at Center of Grace - Thursday, May 19th. Sign up at the Welcome Center to provide a dessert, help serve or both. Serving begins at 5:15 p.m. The Center of Grace is located at 520 S Harrison Street in Olathe.

Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it.

We are working to revitalize our transportation ministry. If you are interested in providing a ride for someone please contact Anthony Bryan via email at anthonybryan454@gmail.com to get more information and to join the team
