SPECIAL UPDATE
It has been confirmed by the Kearney family that there will be a private burial for Dr. Robert Kearney on March 24th.

FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Memorial Book - we are putting together a book that will be a companion to the memorial plaques. If you know someone whose name is on one of the plaques - we would love your assistance. There is a printed list of all the names at the Welcome Center for you to look at and a simple "In Memory and Honor" form for you to tell us something about that person. We are looking for things like: their service to the church, what they did in life & work, what you would want someone in the future to know about the person.

2. Business Meeting Continued - The business meeting held on March 4 was recessed and will be reconvened on April 8th immediately following the second service. This continuation will be in the Sanctuary and the scheduled potluck will take place once the meeting is adjourned. The sole purpose of this continuation is to vote on the final draft of the Lily Foundation Grant proposal before is it submitted for consideration by the foundation.

Let Us Know...

Please be sure to fill out a Connect Card each week to let us know you were at church and how the staff can be praying for you. If you attend the first service drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. If you attend the second service you can put the Connect Card in the offering boxes at the back of the Sanctuary. For those of you who regularly fill them out - THANK YOU!

On this 5th Sunday of Lent we finish up the Cross Fit series with a message from Leann Carrick titled - The Cross: More Than Dead Wood looking at Luke 23:26-31 

The next Back to Basics: Time In The Word  Bible reading schedule will be available March 25th.

CONNECT

Prayer List Reminder - If you would like a list with full names they are available by request from the Welcome Center and if they run out Leann will be happy to print one for you.
Young At Heart - Tuesday, March 20th at 10:30 a.m. with special guests The Barn Players. Invite a friend, bring a dish to share and join the fun.
Movie - April 7th we are going to gather at the AMC here in Olathe to see the movie I Can Only Imagine. We will let everyone know what time as soon as we know. Everyone will be arranging for their own tickets. Remember this is a great movie to invite friends too.

SERVE

Homeless Ministry - looking for away to serve, try Sandwich Sunday. Every Sunday after second service simple lunches are taken out to the homeless in the community. For more information contact Melisa Chai
Strengthening Families - March 22, we are looking for a group to provide a meal for those participating in the Strengthening Families program we are hosting. They have about 30 people in attendance. For more detail please contact Leann Carrick.
Egg Hunt Donations - Children's Ministry is looking for donations of plastic eggs and candy. You may either bring the eggs already stuffed with candy, or candy and eggs. Donations may be left at office. Deadline for donation is March 20th

Bible Journaling meets Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Guys for God - Every Thursday beginning April 5th 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. at Starbucks 135th & Black Bob all men are invited and challenged to become men of God. More info - contact Pastor Derek.
Path Setters - Every Thursday 7:00 a.m. at the church in Heritage Chapel
