FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Fourth of July
The church offices will be closed on July 4th. Praying you all have a wonderful and safe celebration of our country's independence.

2. Business Meeting
Our next regularly scheduled Business meeting will happen July 20th at 6:30 p.m.  At this meeting we will get ministry updates from the Olathe & Gardner campuses and we will vote on changing the name of the Olathe Campus. Absentee Ballots are now available - please see Leann Carrick, if you need an absentee ballot. Absentee Ballots should be returned to Leann not later than close of Business July 19.  There will be a potluck supper before the meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please bring a dish to share according to your last name: A-I Main Dish; J-Q Salad or Side and R-Z Dessert.

3. Demolition Crew Wanted
We are looking for a few good people to prepare the first set of bathrooms for updating. The work will need to be done on either a Monday, Friday or Saturday - so as not to disturb the preschool. Work will involve removing and storing the toilets, sinks and mirrors - so they can be re-installed. Removal and disposal of wall paper, chair rails, floors and partitions.  For more information contact Leann at leanncarrick.fbc@gmail.com

WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED?

Ginger Sparks would like to know what the interest would be for a Bible Journaling small group. Bible journaling combines Bible study with art.  See the photo for an example. It would require that you purchase a Journaling Bible and possibly some drawing/coloring supplies. If you would like to learn more please email Ginger at stampinginger@sbcglobal.net

Other Stuff
Mandy King and Jennifer Guilliams are hard at work prepping for a preschool to open this fall at our Gardner Campus - Connection Community Church. There is currently a need for a Laptop computer that is wireless, has the current Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite. If someone is able to gift Connections Preschool with one - it would be a tremendous blessing.

Now you are in the know
Until next time...GOD BLESS
