SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Central Seminary - Is looking for input concerning the feasibility of offering a certificate program in Theological Education for Laity. They have developed an online survey to gather this information you may access the survey at: Central Seminary Survey

FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Office Hours - The office will close Friday, April 20 at 2:30 p.m. 
2. Hot Wheels - In partnership with Connections Preschool we are currently collecting; new, individually packaged Hot Wheels. All of the Hot Wheel collected will be given to Henry's Haul and then distributed to pediatric patients at Children's Mercy Hospital. This Sunday will be the last opportunity to donate cars.
3. Building Improvement Campaign - Be watching your mail as we kick off the second phase of the building improvement campaign, May 1st. We are calling this phase "Bring it Home" as we are hoping to pay off the loan with this campaign.

Please be sure to fill out a Connect Card each week to let us know you were at church and how the staff can be praying for you. If you attend the first service drop it in the offering plate as it goes by. If you attend the second service you can put the Connect Card in the offering boxes at the back of the Sanctuary. For those of you who regularly fill them out - THANK YOU!

We continue the I Can Only Imagine series this Sunday with a message from Pastor Derek Imagine Redemption that focuses on Matthew 5:2-12 and we will dedicate a number of our little ones.

The second quarter Back to Basics: Time In The Word  Bible reading schedule is available at the Welcome Center.

CONNECT

Prayer List Reminder - If you would like a list with full names they are available by request from the Welcome Center and if they run out Leann will be happy to print one for you.
Next-Steps - is the new get connected ministry. There will be Next-Step | Quick Step gatherings on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month starting this Sunday. Then on the 2nd Sunday of the month there will be a longer Next-Step gathering dedicated to helping you find your place at FBC by exploring your special gifts and talent.


SERVE
Merge Street Ministries - Is the name of our homeless ministry. If you are looking for away to serve, try their Sandwich Sunday. Every Sunday after second service simple lunches are taken out to the homeless in the community. For more information contact Melisa Chai
Children's & Youth Ministry - our young people are our future so it is critical we invest in them - would  you help? Not sure? Go to a Next-Step gathering to learn about your gifts and talents.
Memorial Book - we have only gotten a couple of submissions for the Memorial Book. This special project is meant to honor those who have gone before us. If you know anything about any of the people whose names appear on the memorial plaques - please fill out In Memory and Honor form. We edit any duplicate information as we compile the book.

Bible Journaling meets Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Guys for God - Every Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. at Starbucks 135th & Black Bob all men are invited and challenged to become men of God. More info - contact Pastor Derek.
Path Setters - Every Thursday 7:00 a.m. at the church in Heritage Chapel
