Be In The Know - September 14, 2017

FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Office Hours
The office will close as early as 11:30a.m. Friday, September 15th, depending on the length of the Diaconate meeting.

2. Hurricane Relief
If you would like to give toward hurricane relief the easiest way is to go directly to One Great Hour of Sharing and give online at https://abhms.org/ministry-opportunities/give-now-online/online-donation/
You can choose Hurricane Harvey or Irma from the drop down list on the giving page. If you would like to give cash or check please be sure to indicate SPECIAL GIFT so that it gets sent on to One Great Hour of Sharing.

3. Congregational Discussions: Flag
At the first meeting the discussion centered around what the flag meant and represented to those present at the meeting. Those present where tasked with finding out what others feel the flag means and represents - they were given an example of how the people of Myanmar think about the flag. So the discussion at the September 21st meeting will center on "How others see the flag." The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
