FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Heritage Elementary School Work Day

Saturday, November 19th we'll kick off this pre-advent community service opportunity by meeting at the church at 9:15 a.m. for come coffee and donuts. Then from 10:00 - 2:00 we'll work sanding & painting playground equipment and spreading mulch. Didn't sign up? That's ok just be at the church at 9:15 a.m.

2. Business Meeting

We will have our end of the year business meeting Wednesday, December 14th. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. At this meeting we will vote on the 2017 Diaconate Slate, the 2017 Budget, provide an overview of what we've accomplished for the Kingdom and give an update on facility projects for 2017.

3. Office Hours

The office will close Friday 11/18 at 3:45 p.m.  As we continue to make adjustments in preparation of the new labor law taking effect 12/1 the decision has been made to change the church office hours to 8am - 4pm eliminating the need to close the office for an hour each day.  Friday will continue to be flexible depending on what else is happening in a given week.

4. Help Needed

WORSHIP

Update on sound system and recording capabilities. The current expectation for system replacement is Easter 2017. Additional information about this will be forthcoming - keep watching all communication channels for more information.

Please be sure to fill out a Connect Card each week to let us know you were at church and how the staff can be praying for you. You can also sign-up for Wednesday Night Supper that way. For those of you who regularly fill them out - THANK YOU!

This Sunday we kick off Thanksgiving week with a message titled The Christmas Gift Under The Bed we'll be looking at Luke 36-50

A Christmas Night of Worship:

Join us for a wonderful evening of music as we celebrate the Season of Advent on Sunday, December 18th at 6:30 p.m.  This will be a great event to invite friends and family to.

CONNECT

Wednesday Night Supper - There will be NO supper this week due to Thanksgiving. 

Please be sure to fill-out a Connect Card and let us know you'll be joining us for supper. 

All are invited to attend the preschool Christmas program Say Cheese for Christmas December 6th at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a holiday potluck on Sunday, December 11th following the second service.  If your last name begins with... A - H Main Dish, I - Q Salad or Side and R-Z Dessert.

SERVE

We have begun tracking hours toward our Be the Missing Link community service goal of 2000 hours by Christmas. If you serve as a volunteer anywhere in the community you can count those hours. Hour record sheets are available at the Welcome Center and can be turned into the office. Service opportunities will also be listed on the website soon.
