FEATURED ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Connections Community Church Grand Opening 

This Sunday June 19 marks the GRAND OPENING of our Gardner Campus with worship at 6:00 p.m.  and Hot Dogs being served after. Let your Gardner friends know there is a new church in town and invite them to check it out.  The church is located at 736 S Center Street, Gardner KS 66030.  Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to get ready for this Kingdom expansion.

2. Cardboard and Duct Tape Needed

The youth group is preparing for camp and they need cardboard and duct tape - lots and lots of duct tape, so they can build a boat for the cardboard boat  race that will take place while they are there. Please drop off donations to the church office. The group leaves for camp on June 26th. THANK YOU! 

2. Business Meeting

Our next regularly scheduled Business meeting will happen July 20th at 6:30 p.m.  At this meeting we will get ministry updates from the Olathe & Gardner campuses and we will vote on changing the name of the Olathe Campus. Absentee Ballots will be available beginning this Sunday, June 19 - please see Leann Carrick, if you need an absentee ballot. Absentee Ballots should be returned to Leann not later than close of Business July 19.  Keep watching here for more information.

Young at Heart is a great way to connect. Young at Heart meets monthly and this month they meet June 21st. Please Meet at the Cracker Barrel at 11:00 a.m. You'll be going "Dutch" for lunch. If you need a ride please contact Bonnie Perkins 913-764-2853 to make arrangements.

 Other Stuff

Mandy King and Jennifer Guilliams are hard at work prepping for a preschool to open this fall at our Gardner Campus - Connection Community Church. There is currently a need for a Laptop computer that is wireless, has the current Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite. If someone is able to gift Connections Preschool with one - it would be a tremendous blessing.
